Valley of Flowers is a must do trek for all, though it's rated as an easy trek is one of the kind experience, the Valley itself is home to over 500 Species of Plants and many rare Himalayan Mammals. It was declared a national park in 1982 and it’s also a UNESCO world heritage site.As part of trek we even get to visit a famous Sikh Pilgrimage of Shri Hemkund Sahib.
The nearest railway station to Valley of flowers is Rishikesh but the roads are only connected upto Govind Ghat from where you have to commence trek of 16 kms to reach Valley of Flowers. Rishikesh railway station is situated 273 kms before Govindghat on NH58. Rishikesh is well connected by railway networks with major destinations of India. Trains to Rishikesh are frequent. Govindghat is well connected by motorable roads with Rishikesh. Taxis and buses are available from Rishikesh,
Valley of Flowers is connected upto Pulna village (4 kms from ) with motorable roads and from here you have to commence trek of 13 kms to reach . Govindghat is well connected by motorable roads with major destinations of Uttarakhand state. Buses to Haridwar, Rishikesh and Srinagar are available from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Buses and Taxis to Govindghat are easily available from major destinations of Uttarakhand state like Rishikesh, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Srinagar, Chamoli etc. Govindghat is situated on National Highway 58 making it easy to reach.
Pick Up Point- Haridwar Railway Station. Pick Up Time- 6:00 am, Distance- 190 km, Driving Time- 7 hour, Altitude- 6,600 ft, Network Availability- Available till Sari.

Distance- 16 km. Trekking Time- 7-8 hours, Altitude at Chopta-8,700 ft, Water source- A ground water source before entering Rohini Bugyal. Waterfalls on the second half of the trail.
Buniyakund to Chopta (Drive 3km). Chopta to Tungnath, Chandrashilla Summit and back (Trek 8km) Trekking Time- 7-8 hour. Altitude- 13,100 ft. Water Source- None. View: Mountains of Garhwal and Kumaon- Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti, Kamet, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Kedar dome, Thalaysagar, Gangotri ranges, Jahanukut etc.
Tali forest camp to Tali lake (111480 ft) (1 km trek). Tali lake to Gurson bugyal (11150 ft) (3.5 km trek), Gurson bugyal to Auli (9680 ft) (3.5 km trek), Auli to Joshimath (6724 ft) (13 km drive), Breakfast at Tali camp site, Lunch Pack on the way, Joshimath (evening tea, debriefing, dinner).
