Overview & ITINERARY

The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most revered pilgrimages in India, encompassing four sacred shrines nestled amidst the Garhwal Himalayas — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
This 11-day journey begins in Haridwar, where the holy Ganges descends to the plains, and takes you through winding mountain roads, glacial rivers, and mythological temples.

You’ll first visit Yamunotri, the origin of the River Yamuna, followed by Gangotri, the birthplace of the Ganges. From there, continue to Kedarnath, one of Lord Shiva’s twelve Jyotirlingas, reached via a scenic 14 km trek or pony ride. Finally, end your pilgrimage at Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, surrounded by the majestic Neelkanth peak.

After the divine Char Dham circuit, unwind in Rishikesh, enjoying yoga, river rafting, and the spiritually uplifting Ganga Aarti. This tour beautifully combines adventure, faith, and natural beauty — offering a life-transforming Himalayan experience.

➡️ It’s a moderate to difficult 14 km trek from Gaurikund. Ponies and palanquins are available for hire.

Q2: Is there mobile network connectivity during the Char Dham Yatra?
➡️ Mobile connectivity is limited in high-altitude areas like Kedarnath and Yamunotri. However, you’ll get decent signals in towns such as Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, and Badrinath. It’s recommended to carry a BSNL or Jio SIM, as these have the best coverage in Uttarakhand’s hilly regions.

Q3: Are meals vegetarian?

Q4: Can elderly people join the tour?
➡️ Yes, but they should be medically fit. Kedarnath and Yamunotri treks can be challenging — ponies or palkis can be used.

➡️ Yes, hotels are included for all 10 nights (standard or deluxe as per the chosen package).

Q6: How can I reach Haridwar for the starting point?
➡️ Haridwar is well-connected by train and road. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (40 km).

Q7: Are adventure activities available in Rishikesh?
➡️ Yes, you can try river rafting, bungee jumping, or yoga sessions at your own cost.

Q8: What happens in case of bad weather or landslides?
➡️ The Mountain Trekker may rearrange the itinerary without changing total days or services, ensuring your safety.
