Char Dham Yatra Overview
Char Dham is a pilgrimage tour in the lands of gods - Dev Bhoomi, Uttarakhand that covers four major temples: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
The Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is one of Hindu devotees most promising spiritual journeys. This yatra is done annually by several pilgrims from all over the world.

Char Dham Temples
Yamunotri
Yamunotri Dham is close to the source of the river Yamuna. The temple built by the Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal is built on the left bank of the Yamuna. This temple is said to have been built before the time of Asit Muni. It is believed that if you take a bath in the water here, your soul will be purified and you will be freed from the curse too.
Gangotri
The Gangotri Dham is situated on the bank of the river Bhagirathi and is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Gaumukh, which is the source or origin of the Ganga River, is situated at a distance of 20 km from the Gangotri district. It is one of the most sacred and holy dhams for Hindus as it is associated with Rishi Bhagiratha who used to worship and meditate here, who performed severe penance to bring the river down from heaven to cleanse the sins of his ancestors.
Kedarnath
Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, situated near the Mandakini River. It was established by the Pandavas after the Kurukshetra war and it is for seeking forgiveness from Lord Shiva for the bloodshed and went on a pilgrimage. Lord Shiva, however, eluded them and manifested himself in the form of a bull at Kedarnath. The Pandavas eventually found Lord Shiva and built the Kedarnath temple at the same location.
Badrinath
Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located between the Nar and Narayan peaks with the Neelkanth peak in the background. It is one of the Char Dhams established by Adi Shankaracharya and is believed to be the place where Lord Vishnu meditated.

Early morning we will start your day with morning prayer at the Kedarnath temple. Following the morning Maha-Abhishek 4:00 am bells chanting, general public Puja will initiate at 6:00 am and we will then take you on the sightseeing tour of Gandhi Sarovar and Gaurikund. Descends trekking Gaurikund at the earliest as possible to get to the hotel.
